The Union County Community Foundation is now accepting applications into its 2012 grants program.
Funding priorities for this year are: broad charitable purposes; programs that support professional development for Union County public school teachers; and programs that support those who are mentally disadvantaged or physically handicapped as a result of visual and hearing impairments.
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits, congregations, governmental and educational institutions serving Union County. Find more information at the group’s website, www.unioncounty-cf.org.
Registration needs to be complete by Aug. 3.
