Wesley Chapel needs volunteers

WESLEY CHAPEL — The town will host two volunteer workdays at Dogwood Park, 121 Lester Davis Road, on Saturday, June 23, and July 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids are welcome with parental supervision. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants, work gloves, hat, sunscreen and bug spray. Useful tools to bring include spades, rakes, pick axe, wheelbarrows, work gloves and chain saws. Planned work includes digging trenches, moving gravel, raking trail, clearing fallen trees/branches, shredding/chipping branches, loading trash into a dumpster and more. Cold water will be provided.

Volunteers need to sign insurance waivers. If younger than 18, a parent must sign.
