Sewer overflows into Richardson Creek

MONROE – Around 3,600 gallons of sewer waste spilled into a local creek Monday in Monroe.

Officials with the city say a blocked manhole caused the sewer to spill out into Richardson Creek on Monday, June 25, near West Park Drive. People can report sewer problems by calling the water resource department at 704-282-4600.
