Girl Scouts ‘Rock The Mall’

Girl Scout Troop 941 attended the “Rock The Mall” event in Washington, D.C., June 9, celebrating the 100th year of Girl Scouting. The event was attended by thousands of Girl Scouts all across the United States. The girls also visited The White House, Arlington Cemetery, Ford’s Theater, and several of the memorials, museums and other sights. For some of the girls, this was their first visit to Washington, D.C. and first time riding on a subway.

Troop 941 is from the Indian Trail area, and is part of the Hornets Nest Council.
