Monroe police arrest murder suspect

A Monroe man was arrested and charged Tuesday, Jan. 31, for the murder of a neighbor. Randolph Ralph Tyson, 56, was arrested at the Hermitage Manor apartment complex, where both he and the victim, Harry Lee Blakeney, 52, lived. The men allegedly got into an argument, when Tyson pulled out a knife and stabbed Blakeney. Tyson faces first degree murder charges and is currently being held without bond in the Union County Jail.
