Saying thanks

As a resident I would like to thank former Indian Trail council members Roger Stanton and Gary D’ Onofrio for being present at the Dec 13 Indian Trail Town Council Meeting though they did not have to attend. It shows that both of them still care about Indian Trail. Both gentlemen showed professionalism and dignity when asked to tell of their accomplishments at the Nov 29 council meeting. John Quinn, I want to thank you for representing residents when asked to do so and making sacrifices of your personal life while being mayor. Since former Mayor Pro Tem Jeffrey Goodall was not able to attend the town council meeting on Nov 29 and
Dec 13. I will have to thank him through this editorial for his service. I hope the four of you will have continued success in your future endeavors, whatever it might be. I wish to suggest to Mayor Michael Alvarez, all of the town council, and town manager Joe Fivas to formally invite all of those persons mentioned above in this editorial to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Stone Theater next year. It is only fair, since the ground breaking was done during their terms and will not be in office next year when the theater opens.
