During Waxhaw’s Spring Fest (on May 14), the Waxhaw United Methodist Church will be having its annual yard sale in the fellowship hall of the church. It begins at 6:30 a.m until 1 p.m. The United Methodist Men will have sausage biscuits available. The Methodist Women will have some home baked desserts to sell also.
Proceeds from this event go to the “Fixing It For Christ” group of the church who will be working during the third week in June to help local folks who are in need of some repair work at their home. Clean up, painting and such. This is for those who are handicapped, elderly or having a hard time. They usually do about six or so projects that week.
The church is located at the corner of North Church and McDonald streets right near where the Farmer’s Market is located. For information call Joyce Blythe at 704-843-2246.
We always have a huge variety of items to sell, plenty to pick from.
