SPCC gears up for new massage therapy class

A new class for South Piedmont Community College’s massage therapy program will kick off Aug. 1 at the school’s Old Charlotte Highway campus.

The program provides everything needed for a student to sit for the national certification exam. The certification is needed for some jobs in chiropractic offices, spas, salons and wellness centers. The 500-plus hour program can be completed in 24 weeks through the community college.
