Local girl honored with Optimism award

MONROE – Brielle Mulroy, a Union Academy kindergarten student, was recognized recently for her optimism at a school awards ceremony. Brielle was a medal recipient at the January Special Olympics for ice skating. She’s a daughter of Tom and Connie Mulroy.
